Work Environment\n

As a remote position, this role allows for flexibility while maintaining a structured workweek from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. While we strive to accommodate individual scheduling needs, some adjustments may be required based on patient availability and needs. You will work primarily from a home office, using telehealth tools to conduct evaluations, therapy sessions, and follow-ups, allowing for a seamless connection with clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand patient needs, risk factors, and treatment goals, customizing approaches to fit individual circumstances.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, to support clients in overcoming their challenges.

• Lead psychoeducational and support groups that foster community among individuals dealing with similar mental health issues, promoting shared experiences and insights.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to devise comprehensive care strategies that ensure all facets of patient health are addressed.

• Provide crisis intervention services as needed, offering immediate and effective support during acute mental health episodes.

• Educate clients on mental health conditions and available community resources, empowering them with knowledge for informed decision-making.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards and facility protocols.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations, contributing to collaborative treatment planning and sharing innovative approaches to care.

• Engage in continuous professional development, staying current with advancements in mental health research and therapy methodologies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Texas.

• Demonstrated expertise in mental health assessment, treatment planning, and the implementation of therapeutic interventions.

• Experience delivering both individual and group therapy to diverse populations.

• Strong interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients and team members.

• Commitment to ethical practice, demonstrating sound judgment and maintaining professional boundaries.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth tools for patient management.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health counseling role, with a focus on outpatient care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
