Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, which include psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and comprehensive risk assessments to gauge client needs accurately.

• Work collaboratively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that take into account their unique circumstances, objectives, and cultural backgrounds.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), in one-on-one, couple, family, and group settings.

• Provide necessary crisis intervention services to clients in acute distress, ensuring timely interventions and effective follow-ups.
\n
• Maintain diligent clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, in accordance with both clinic policies and regulatory standards.

• Educate clients and their families through psychoeducation, equipping them with tools and strategies to effectively manage their mental health conditions.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, to provide comprehensive care to all patients.

• Regularly assess treatment outcomes, adjusting plans as necessary to optimize client progress and satisfaction.

• Continuously update your knowledge of mental health best practices and current research to enhance the quality of care provided.

• Adhere to ethical practices and maintain the confidentiality of all client information at all times.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey is essential.
