Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and psychological evaluations to identify the severity and impact of clients' mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients in co-creating personalized treatment plans that reflect their individual goals, motivations, and circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to implement effective interventions.

• Provide educational support and resources regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices to clients and their families.

• Monitor ongoing progress through regular follow-ups, assessments, and adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver a coherent and integrated approach to mental health treatment.

• Keep abreast of recent developments and research in mood disorder treatment, adapting best practices into clinical work.

• Ensure comprehensive documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and sessions in line with ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in team meetings, case consultations, and continuing education opportunities to enhance clinical skills and share insights about mood disorder treatments.

• Act as an advocate for clients, working to destigmatize mental health issues and promote awareness of their needs within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role will be on clients dealing with mood disorders including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will be working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, which requires a respectful, culturally competent approach to therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure in Texas as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Psychologist.
\n
• Proven experience in implementing evidence-based treatment strategies specific to mood disorders.

• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and the capability to collaborate effectively with prescribing physicians.

• Exceptional communication skills, with a penchant for building rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in a community health environment or outpatient psychiatric setting is preferred. Familiarity with teletherapy tools and methods is an added advantage, particularly as our practice has adopted a technology-first approach to counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience. Our benefits package includes:
