Compassionate Counseling, LLC is actively seeking dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapists, including LMFTs, LMHCs, and LCSWs, to join our dynamic team. This full-time position offers the flexibility of remote work while providing outpatient therapeutic services to adults across New York. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address clients’ diverse needs.

• Perform thorough bio-psycho-social assessments to develop individualized treatment plans focused on client strengths and goals.
\n
• Implement coping strategies and social skills training while addressing issues such as anger management and risk behaviors (e.g., self-injurious behavior).
\n
• Enhance clients’ decision-making skills through targeted interventions aimed at improving their management of in-home behavioral challenges.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, ensuring holistic support for clients and their families.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation including intake forms, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required paperwork.

• Participate in monthly clinical supervision and team meetings to discuss caseload updates, treatment efficacy, and professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on serving a diverse adult population dealing with varying degrees of mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or a related field.

• Active licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, or LMHC in New York State.
\n
• Demonstrated clinical mental health training through post-internship field experience.
\n
• Familiarity with the DSM-5 for assessments and diagnoses.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Proficient in various counseling methodologies such as CBT, DBT, REBT, Gestalt, and trauma-informed care.

• Experience in designing treatment plans and creating measurable treatment goals.
\n
• Participation or completion of Crisis Intervention Training is preferred.
\n
• Proven ability to provide positive behavior support and manage crisis situations effectively.

• Skilled in using telehealth platforms for virtual therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
