Work Environment\n

This position is based in a community health clinic, tailored to support a multicultural clientele. As the role is remote, you'll also benefit from the flexibility of working from home while engaging with clients through virtual platforms. Our work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that respect each patient's cultural background and personal experiences

• Develop individualized treatment plans leveraging evidence-based interventions tailored to address the unique needs of each client

• Provide various therapy modalities including individual, family, and group sessions, focusing on enhancing emotional well-being and resilience

• Work in collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals for an integrated approach to patient care

• Manage crisis intervention situations, offering immediate support and resources during mental health emergencies

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Virginia

• A proven understanding of mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and the importance of cultural competence in therapy

• Demonstrated experience in providing effective individual and group therapy, specifically utilizing culturally responsive approaches

• Expertise in crisis intervention and problem-solving, with the ability to handle challenging situations with composure and professionalism

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling strong rapport-building with diverse clients

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems for effective documentation and patient management

• A solid commitment to ethical practice, including confidentiality and professional boundaries

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
