Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally informed mental health assessments to develop personalized treatment plans that reflect the experiences and needs of each patient.

• Deliver a variety of therapy sessions, including individual, family, and group formats, focusing on mental health growth, resilience, and overall well-being.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support, demonstrating a calm and effective presence during mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on various mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their care.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will be tasked with understanding and effectively addressing the unique cultural contexts that influence your patients’ mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Virginia.

• A robust understanding of mental health disorders coupled with proficiency in evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering individual and group therapy using culturally responsive and inclusive techniques.

• Strong crisis management skills and the ability to remain composed in high-stress environments.

• Excellent communication skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with clients from various backgrounds.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and digital communication tools.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
