This role is fully remote, allowing flexibility in your work schedule, while maintaining regular hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial mental health assessments tailored to understanding the cultural context of patients' experiences and developing personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions across individual, family, and group therapy sessions, considering the unique cultural backgrounds of patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention to manage mental health emergencies and offer immediate support to patients in distress.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure integrated and comprehensive care approaches.

• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment methodologies, and available community resources, fostering awareness and informed decision-making.

• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case conferences, cultural competency training, and continuous professional development to enhance skills and stay abreast of best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population. Our patients include those from various ethnic backgrounds, the LGBTQ+ community, and immigrant groups. The mental health challenges faced by our clients are often intertwined with cultural factors, and your role will involve the integration of culturally specific approaches in therapy to ensure effective treatment. By understanding each patient’s cultural narrative, you will provide more effective care that promotes healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized program.

• A valid and current license as an LCSW, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee.

• A thorough understanding of various mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering therapy that respects and incorporates patients’ cultural contexts.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills and the ability to remain poised in high-pressure situations.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant digital tools.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with multicultural populations and a deep understanding of the cultural considerations unique to therapy.

• Experience in both individual and group therapeutic settings, particularly with diverse clients.
