New Path Health Care Center is seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to join our team. Work Environment\n

This full-time position allows for a flexible work setting wherein therapists can conduct sessions remotely while enjoying the benefits of a supportive, collaborative culture. Although primarily based outside of a traditional clinic, therapists will still engage with a multidisciplinary team to develop tailored patient care strategies. The typical work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with varied hours based upon patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand each patient's distinct experiences and devise effective treatment plans tailored to their backgrounds.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods in individual, family, and group therapy sessions designed to foster resilience and holistic mental well-being.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, interdisciplinary care for patients.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services during acute mental health emergencies, ensuring patients receive timely and appropriate support.
\n
• Deliver education sessions to patients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment options, and community resources, empowering them for better health management.
\n
• Maintain precise, confidential documentation and records per legal requirements and ethical standards using advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate actively in case conferences and team meetings to enhance collaborative care strategies and contribute to cultural competency training initiatives.

• Remain updated on the latest developments in mental health services, best practices, and cultural considerations relevant to therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license to practice as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.
\n
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders along with experience in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly those that embrace cultural competence in therapy.

• Demonstrated expertise in delivering responsive individual and group therapy, with an emphasis on inclusivity and cultural responsiveness.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills and an ability to manage challenging situations with professionalism and poise.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills, allowing for the establishment of trust and rapport with a diverse clientele.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology.
\n
• A commitment to ethical practices, maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality at all times.
\n
• Team-oriented collaborative approach, able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing mental health counseling in a clinical or community health setting.

• Proven track record of engaging with varied clientele, particularly in multicultural or underserved communities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
