Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to accurately evaluate patients' histories and current mental health needs.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience, continually adjusting these plans based on patient feedback and recovery progress.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in both individual and group settings.

• Provide crisis intervention support for patients facing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate and appropriate care.
\n
• Facilitate educational sessions for patients and their families on coping mechanisms, trauma responses, and available community resources to foster understanding and empowerment.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential records of all patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring thorough documentation of treatment progress.

• Engage in continuous professional development activities centered on trauma-informed care to enhance your knowledge and therapeutic skills.

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to explore collaborative care options and share best practices among colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals who have experienced significant trauma and may be dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and associated dissociative disorders. Your clients will come from varied backgrounds, including both adults and adolescents, each presenting unique challenges and stories. Your expertise and compassionate approach will play a pivotal role in helping these individuals find their path to healing and recovery, making measurable changes in their lives.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Oregon.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, particularly in trauma-focused settings.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and a deep commitment to trauma-informed treatment modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
