Work Environment\n

This position allows for flexibility and convenience through a fully remote telehealth setup, enabling you to connect with clients from the comfort of your home. Your schedule will typically span Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some adaptability required to better accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's trauma history and identify suitable treatment approaches.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans centered on trauma recovery and resilience enhancement tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at guiding patients in processing trauma, developing effective coping strategies, and encouraging healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure a unified approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety.

• Educate patients and families regarding trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to enhance their support network.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards to promote continuity of care.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities emphasizing trauma-informed practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will primarily work with individuals affected by various forms of trauma, including those struggling with PTSD, complex trauma, and associated mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, with a focus on trauma-informed care preferred.

• Strong proficiency regarding trauma-related disorders, alongside therapeutic modalities designed for trauma recovery and resilience-building.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
