Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to discern the unique histories of each patient, ensuring personalized treatment plans that focus on recovery.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment strategies utilizing evidence-based interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that empower patients in processing their trauma, employing techniques to reduce symptoms, and cultivating adaptive coping mechanisms.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated, holistic care that aligns with best practice standards.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and stabilization support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate safety and care for patients in distress.

• Educate patients and their families on understanding trauma, coping strategies, and accessing additional resources to enhance their therapeutic journey.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of clinical notes and treatment outcomes in compliance with state laws and ethical guidelines.

• Participate actively in ongoing professional development, team meetings, and case consultations to refine skills and stay current on trauma-informed practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on individuals affected by traumatic experiences such as physical or emotional abuse, neglect, combat exposure, or significant life events. Our diverse patient population includes adults and adolescents struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, depression, anxiety, and dissociative disorders. Your empathetic and tailored approach will help to foster trust and encourage patients to actively participate in their recovery process.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Holding current licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience working with trauma-related therapies.

• Thorough knowledge of trauma disorders, trauma-informed care modalities, and approaches that facilitate resilience and recovery.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 110,000 annually, dependent on qualifications and experience.
