This full-time position is essential for providing specialized mental health care to individuals who have experienced trauma, including those suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home while still fostering strong connections with your patients. Our telehealth work facility is equipped with a robust technological infrastructure, ensuring seamless communication and documentation through electronic health record (EHR) systems. You will work a standard Monday to Friday schedule, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility necessary to accommodate the needs of your patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments, exploring patients' trauma histories to guide the development of effective treatment plans.

• Create and revise individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and holistic well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions designed to assist patients in processing their trauma and developing healthy coping mechanisms.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and emotional support during traumatic events or emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and the various resources available to them.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in team discussions, case consultations, and participate in on-going professional development focused on trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves individuals who have experienced severe trauma and are in need of compassionate, understanding mental health support. Your interventions will focus not only on PTSD but also on complex trauma and dissociative disorders, making your expertise key in guiding patients toward healing and integration of their experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.

• Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington is required.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting is preferred.

• Comprehensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building techniques is essential.

• Proven experience delivering trauma-focused therapy and interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills paired with a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Capability to remain composed and insightful in high-stress scenarios.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $104,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
