Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct trauma-informed mental health assessments to meticulously evaluate patients' trauma histories, establishing a foundation for tailored treatment approaches.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and the cultivation of resilience, utilizing a variety of therapeutic methodologies.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including modalities like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to empower patients in processing trauma experiences, developing effective coping strategies, and fostering healing.

• Collaborate seamlessly with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive, integrated care for our patients.

• Respond adeptly to crisis situations, providing immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on understanding trauma responses and developing coping mechanisms, while providing information about available support resources.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, using our electronic health record systems.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development aimed at enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on clients who have endured trauma, including those experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will provide critical support to diverse populations, working closely with individuals seeking to reclaim their lives and emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
\n
• Demonstrated understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate, non-judgmental approach.

• Ability to maintain composure and clarity in high-stress situations.
\n
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiar with standard computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting focused on trauma recovery is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
