Work Environment\n

As a remote outpatient practice, we prioritize flexibility and accessibility for both our patients and our team. While the core working hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., our counselors might occasionally need to adjust schedules to accommodate the unique needs of patients. We utilize advanced telehealth services and electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate communication and care, ensuring that our therapists have all the resources they need to provide the best possible support.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health evaluations to assess patients' trauma histories and determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient, with a strong focus on trauma healing and resilience building strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate recovery and coping skills development.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, such as support groups for trauma survivors, to foster a sense of community and shared healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals to create a seamless, integrated care experience for patients.

• Respond to trauma-related crises with immediate intervention strategies, ensuring safety and support for those in need.

• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources to enhance their healing journey.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• Familiarity with EHR systems and proficiency in utilizing technology to support therapeutic processes.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, characterized by empathy and a nonjudgmental demeanor.

• The ability to maintain composure and support in high-stress situations.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years post-licensure experience in trauma-focused therapy is desirable but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
