Work Environment\n

This role is designed for a remote work setting that emphasizes flexibility and adaptability. While your primary work hours will be Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, there may be opportunities for some schedule flexibility to meet patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to understand patients' backgrounds and determine effective treatment strategies.

• Develop and execute personalized treatment plans targeting trauma recovery and resilience enhancement.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate meaningful patient growth.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma and develop adaptive coping skills.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure comprehensive care for each patient.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, helping patients feel safe and understood.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources to foster understanding and resilience.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus primarily on trauma survivors, who may present with a range of mental health challenges stemming from their experiences. This includes individuals dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. As a licensed mental health therapist, you will be instrumental in delivering tailored interventions that foster healing, recovery, and improved mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW within the state of California.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting is preferred, candidates with a strong passion and commitment to trauma-informed care may also be considered. Compensation and Benefits\n
