Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient’s unique trauma history, leading to the development of tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to promote effective recovery and emotional resilience.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions oriented towards recovery, focusing on helping clients process trauma and develop adaptive coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, co-therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated care, ensuring a holistic approach to patient mental health.

• Offer crisis intervention and support during acute trauma-related emergencies, always prioritizing patient safety and wellbeing.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms to foster greater understanding and support systems.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary client base includes individuals facing challenges related to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Understanding the unique needs of trauma survivors is crucial, as you will work to create individualized therapeutic experiences that empower patients to regain confidence, resilience, and control over their lives.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A minimum of 2 years post-licensure experience is preferred, with a demonstrated proficiency in trauma-informed care.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and competencies in a variety of trauma-focused therapies.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an innate ability to approach clients in a compassionate and non-judgmental manner.

• Competence in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
