Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand clients' experiences and establish suitable treatment pathways.

• Develop, implement, and periodically review individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery and building resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing a space for clients to process their trauma and learn effective coping strategies.

• Coordinate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care for each patient.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring safety and support.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma, fostering understanding of their experiences and available resources.

• Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings, actively contribute to collective decision-making regarding patient care.

• Stay abreast of the latest research in trauma treatment, continuously integrating new knowledge and methodologies into clinical practice.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Strong interpersonal skills combined with a compassionate, patient, and non-judgmental approach to therapy.
