This role offers a flexible and remote work setting, allowing you to deliver high-quality care from the comfort of your home. The full-time schedule typically runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs. Our remote team collaborates closely, utilizing technology to provide seamless care while connecting with patients and other professionals.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to establish patients' trauma history and identify appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) within individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for patients to process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.

• Engage in consistent collaboration with multidisciplinary professionals, including psychiatrists, to ensure integrated and holistic care solutions for all patients.

• Offer crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, providing immediate support to individuals in distress.

• Educate patients and their families about the impacts of trauma, coping mechanisms, and available support resources.

• Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in ongoing case consultations, team meetings, and professional development initiatives that enhance our commitment to trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling or therapy.

• Demonstrable knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-based practices.

• Strong ability to engage in trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
