Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to derive insights into clients' personal trauma histories and needs, guiding the development of tailored treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies aimed at facilitating trauma recovery, resilience-building, and emotional regulation.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver impactful therapy.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that empower clients to effectively process trauma, cultivate coping strategies, and enhance their healing journey.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic care for clients, ensuring all aspects of their wellbeing are addressed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York is required.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-focused treatment modalities and a demonstrated ability to work effectively within a trauma-informed framework.

Compensation and Benefits\n
