Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you to effectively support our clients from the comfort of your home while maintaining a flexible work-life balance. Our standard operating hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with opportunities for some flexibility based on the needs of the patients. As part of a supportive and collaborative team, you will engage in regular team meetings and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in trauma care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient's unique history and treatment needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, resilience-building, and effective coping strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to deliver effective interventions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that provide a safe space for patients to process trauma and develop coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated care approach for comprehensive patient treatment.

• Provide crisis intervention support and guidance during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating your ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.

• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping skills, and available resources to enhance understanding and engagement.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in adherence with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LCP, LCPC, or LCMFT in the state of Kansas.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, specifically in trauma-informed care or mental health counseling.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies to diverse patient populations.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that foster a non-judgmental and compassionate rapport with patients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
