The work schedule is typically Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility depending on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' histories and determine suitable treatment approaches tailored to their needs.

• Design, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery and enhancing resilience in patients.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focused on processing trauma, implementing coping strategies, and encouraging healing through shared experiences.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for our patients.

• Offer crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and immediate assistance.

• Educate patients and their families concerning trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and resources available to aid in recovery.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to ensure consistent application of trauma-informed care protocols and techniques.

• Engage in continuous professional development by staying current with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on individuals affected by trauma, including those suffering from PTSD and other trauma-related disorders. You will work with diverse populations varying in age, backgrounds, and experiences. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• A minimum of 2 years post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, specifically providing trauma-focused therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
