This position is entirely remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while still providing essential services to our patients in Garden City, Kansas. Our structure promotes flexibility, with a standard work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. However, some adjustments to this schedule may be needed to meet the therapy needs of our patients, ensuring that care is accessible and personalized.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's unique trauma history and identify suitable treatment interventions.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans designed to enhance trauma recovery and resilience.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to support clients effectively.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, incorporate coping strategies, and cultivate a sense of healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for our clients.

• Offer crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate assistance and care.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms, empowering them with knowledge and resources available to aid in their recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCP, LCPC, or LCMFT in the state of Kansas.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and treatment approaches, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Preferred Experience\n
