This full-time position is primarily remote, allowing you to provide essential mental health services to individuals who have experienced trauma. Work Environment\n

As a remote mental health professional, you will have the flexibility to manage your schedule while maintaining a structured work routine. Our operational hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs. You will also have regular opportunities for virtual collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring comprehensive and integrated patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' mental health needs, focusing on their trauma history and personal experiences.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, resilience-building, and positive mental health outcomes.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailoring approaches to meet individual patient needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that guide patients in processing their trauma, developing coping mechanisms, and fostering personal healing.

• Engage actively with other healthcare professionals for case consultations and integrated care planning, ensuring each patient receives holistic support.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating a calm and composed demeanor in high-stress situations.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, recovery pathways, and resources available to aid their journeys.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience post-licensure in a mental health setting focused on trauma treatment.

• Extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proven experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, a compassionate demeanor, and the ability to maintain a non-judgmental therapeutic environment.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications is essential for managing patient documentation.

• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is required, expertise in specific trauma-focused therapeutic interventions or certifications will be an advantage. Experience in crisis intervention and collaborative treatment planning is also highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
