Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments that focus on evaluating patients' trauma histories and identifying individualized treatment approaches that cater to their unique needs.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and promoting resilience, using evidence-based techniques.

• Deliver therapeutic interventions, such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), helping patients process their trauma effectively.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients as they develop coping mechanisms and engage in the healing process.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to ensure a well-rounded approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure the safety and stabilization of patients.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, available resources, and effective coping strategies.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with individuals who have experienced trauma, which may present as PTSD, complex trauma, or other related disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

Compensation and Benefits\n
