Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, allowing therapists the flexibility to provide care from their home offices while still being part of a cohesive team. Utilizing a telehealth platform, you will engage with clients through video sessions, ensuring that therapeutic services are accessible and convenient. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient’s unique trauma history and tailor appropriate treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery and resilience, integrating evidence-based practices into everyday therapy.

• Provide direct therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to assist clients in processing their trauma.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions designed to help clients develop effective coping strategies and promote emotional healing.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to coordinate care, ensuring a comprehensive approach to each client’s treatment.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, helping clients and their families navigate through moments of distress.
\n
• Educate clients and their support systems about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them with resources for recovery.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with both legal standards and ethical requirements, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities, enhancing your knowledge of cutting-edge trauma-informed care.

• Engage in ongoing education to stay updated with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy and mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals affected by trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and combat-related experiences. You will work with a diverse client population from various backgrounds, ages, and life experiences, ensuring that every individual receives personalized care that respects their unique journey.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a regionally accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and compassionate mindset.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
\n
• Tech-savvy with experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital tools relevant to telehealth practice.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience implementing EMDR and TF-CBT therapeutic techniques.

• Background in crisis intervention and managing trauma-focused cases.
\n
• Previous experience working within a remote or telehealth setting is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
