Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ histories and identify personalized treatment strategies.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, integrating evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that empower patients to process their experiences, cultivate coping mechanisms, and enhance emotional resilience.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care tailored to each individual.

• Provide crisis intervention support and psychoeducation during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients feel safe and understood.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of patient progress while adhering to all legal and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals facing challenges related to trauma, including those struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related conditions and effective trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent communication skills and a genuine, non-judgmental approach to patient interactions.

• Demonstrated ability to perform well in high-stress environments while maintaining composure.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in clinical settings focusing on trauma therapy and counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education. Additionally, we offer:
