Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient’s trauma history and develop tailored treatment approaches that emphasize individual's unique needs.

• Design and implement unique, individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and bolster patient resilience, utilizing frameworks such as EMDR and TF-CBT.

• Provide ongoing therapeutic interventions, facilitating regular sessions that may include individual therapy, crisis intervention, and psychoeducation.

• Engage actively in planning and participating in team meetings and case consultations to share insights and strategies that enrich the overall care provided to clients.

• Document patient interactions and treatment updates accurately in compliance with HIPAA standards to uphold confidentiality and legal mandates.

• Empower patients and their families by educating them about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources that support recovery efforts.

• Keep abreast of the latest research and innovative practices in trauma therapy to continuously enhance therapeutic approaches and effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals diagnosed with trauma-related disorders, including PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois is mandatory.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed care practices, and resilience-building strategies is essential.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, particularly within trauma-focused therapeutic settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
