Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and empathetic trauma-informed assessments to understand each patient's trauma history and shape personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based methodologies, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to provide effective therapy sessions.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process trauma, develop coping mechanisms, and enhance resilience.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated and cohesive care for each patient.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that patients have immediate access to necessary resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• Required Education: A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Licensure: A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

Compensation and Benefits\n
