Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's history and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans focused on promoting recovery, resilience, and overall mental well-being.

• Deliver evidence-based therapy modalities, particularly Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), ensuring best practice approaches.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, supporting patients in processing their trauma, enhancing coping mechanisms, and fostering healing.

• Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other therapists, to ensure integrated and comprehensive care tailored to patient needs.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and emotional stability.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, contributing to quality care and continuity in treatment.

• Participate actively in case consultations, interdisciplinary team meetings, and professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with trauma survivors, including individuals coping with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Understanding the unique needs and challenges of this population is critical to your role. Your capacity to foster trust and provide empathetic support will play a key role in helping patients navigate their emotional landscapes, ultimately facilitating their journey toward recovery and mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

• Extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building strategies.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, with proven efficacy in therapeutic outcomes.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, embodying a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Able to maintain composure in high-stress situations and demonstrate effective crisis management skills.

• Proficient in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital tools used for patient documentation and care coordination.

Compensation and Benefits\n
