Work Environment\n

This remote position allows flexibility while maintaining a strong connection within our multidisciplinary team. Our workday typically runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some adaptability needed to meet patient demands. You will engage in a collaborative environment where treatment plans are a shared focus, including regular consultations with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to gain insights into each patient’s trauma history and establish a foundation for their treatment.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, integrating therapeutic modalities that best suit each patient's needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Create and facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on helping patients process their trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in our electronic health record (EHR) systems, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Deliver crisis intervention to support patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate and effective care.
\n
• Educate patients and families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and provide resources for additional support.
\n
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities, including case consultations and team meetings with a focus on trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy practices to continuously enhance your therapeutic skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals grappling with the repercussions of trauma, including those living with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work with a diverse client base seeking to reclaim their lives through effective treatment pathways. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensing as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed practices.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine, compassionate approach towards patients.

• Proficiency in managing electronic health record systems and other technological tools relevant to therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, specifically working with trauma survivors.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, with annual compensation between USD 80,000 and 104,000, commensurate with experience.
