Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient's unique trauma history and to develop appropriate treatment strategies.

• Collaborate with patients to create and implement individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery and the development of resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions designed to help patients process their trauma, cultivate coping strategies, and foster personal healing.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and resources to support their mental health journey.

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engage in regular team meetings, case consultations, and professional development exercises to promote best practices in trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed of current research and emerging best practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance care quality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary clientele served in this role will be individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including survivors of abuse, veterans, and others facing the impacts of PTSD and complex trauma. Our focus is on providing compassionate care tailored to meet the specific needs of each patient, helping them to navigate their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience, preferred.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
\n
• Proven experience with trauma-focused interventions and therapeutic techniques.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations while providing support and guidance.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software applications.

• Capacity to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions is highly valued. Demonstrated knowledge of resilience-building approaches and best practices in mental health care will elevate your candidacy. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and modalities is also advantageous, given the remote nature of this position.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
