Work Environment\n

This position is remote, offering the flexibility of working from home while being a part of a supportive virtual team. Our clinic operates within an outpatient model, allowing you to engage with clients through individual and group therapy sessions. We emphasize work-life balance, with standard hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential flexibility as needed to accommodate patient schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' history and tailor appropriate treatment strategies.

• Design and execute individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, utilizing strengths-based approaches to foster resilience.

• Apply evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), ensuring that the approaches align with patients' specific needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to deliver integrated and holistic care to our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a licensed mental health counselor at Turning Leaf Mind Rehab Consultation, you will work with a diverse client population primarily comprising individuals who have experienced trauma. These clients may present with disorders such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and various dissociative disorders. Your role is crucial in helping them navigate their healing process, develop coping strategies, and reclaim their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited educational institution.

• Active licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, ideally in a clinical setting focusing on trauma-informed care.

• Solid understanding of trauma-related disorders, resilience-building techniques, and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proven track record of delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a compassionate and empathetic approach to client interactions.

• Ability to manage high-stress situations calmly while maintaining professional composure.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
