Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility to accommodate your work-life balance while still providing exceptional care to our clients. You will engage with colleagues using various digital collaboration tools and participate in regular virtual team meetings to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care. While our outpatient center operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., candidates should be prepared to demonstrate flexibility in scheduling to meet client needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand clients' trauma histories and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide clients through their healing processes.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing a secure space for clients to express their experiences, develop coping skills, and promote recovery.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary healthcare providers to ensure integrated and holistic treatment for clients.

• Provide crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, utilizing a compassionate and decisive approach to stabilize clients.

• Educate clients and their support networks on the effects of trauma and effective coping strategies, fostering a deeper understanding of available resources.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans, adhering to ethical standards and legal requirements.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and team consultations to enhance skills and share best practices in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with trauma survivors, including individuals from the LGBTQ+ community, who seek specialized support in overcoming the psychological impacts of trauma. Your empathetic understanding of their unique challenges and experiences is vital. The center focuses on individuals grappling with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders, making your role essential in helping these clients navigate their healing processes and regain control over their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state license as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or Psychologist.

• Strong understanding of trauma-informed practices and therapeutic techniques specific to trauma recovery.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with an ability to connect with patients in a compassionate and nonjudgmental manner.

• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and general computer applications to facilitate efficient client service and documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is encouraged, candidates who have demonstrated success in providing trauma-focused therapy will be prioritized. Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
