You will have flexibility within your schedule, working primarily Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential adjustments based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed assessments to gain insight into patients' trauma histories and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Implementing individualized treatment strategies aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and enhancing emotional resilience.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patient healing.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions to enable patients to process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and promote emotional healing.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and health professionals to provide comprehensive and integrated patient care.

• Offering crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients receive assistance when needed.

• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and resources available to them.

• Maintaining accurate, comprehensive, and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development initiatives focusing on trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The patients you will work with include individuals who have experienced significant traumatic events leading to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and knowledge of trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technologies.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and demonstrate effective crisis management skills.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in the mental health field is preferred, we welcome candidates who have demonstrated effective delivery of trauma-focused therapies and a commitment to ongoing professional development in trauma care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
