Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history, allowing for personalized treatment path development.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that emphasize healing, recovery, and the development of resilient coping strategies.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at fostering a therapeutic environment where patients can discuss and process their trauma.

• Engage in collaborative care by working with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive comprehensive treatment.

• Offer crisis intervention services to support clients during trauma-related emergencies, providing immediate resources and guidance.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms to empower them during recovery.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records as per ethical and legal mandates.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings that focus on enhancing trauma-informed practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will primarily work with adults and adolescents who have suffered various forms of trauma. The patients may be dealing with PTSD, complex trauma resulting from long-term abuse, or dissociative disorders stemming from traumatic experiences. Our therapeutic approach is centered on understanding the unique story each patient has to tell, recognizing the impact of trauma, and aiding them in developing tools for recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Demonstrated understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed practices.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, displayed through a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
