Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history, thereby crafting tailored treatment strategies.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that focus on both trauma recovery and resilience-building practices, actively engaging patients in their recovery journey.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), adapting methods to meet the unique needs of each patient.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, assisting patients in processing trauma, developing effective coping strategies, and fostering emotional healing.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless and integrated patient care, enhancing treatment efficiency and effectiveness.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating skill and compassion.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and resources available for ongoing support.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system proficiently.

• Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities related to trauma-informed care.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance your skills and knowledge base.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapists work primarily with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will have the chance to support diverse populations across different age groups, tailoring therapeutic approaches to meet the specific needs of each client. Your work will directly contribute to their healing journey and restoration of mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.
\n
• A demonstrated understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Experience with trauma-focused therapeutic techniques and a strong commitment to resilience-building approaches.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a non-judgmental and empathetic attitude.
\n
• Ability to maintain composure and calm in high-stress situations.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and customer relationship management applications.
\n
• Collaborative mindset, able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience providing comprehensive mental health counseling to trauma survivors.

• Proven experience utilizing trauma-focused therapies and interventions in a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
