Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma history and formulate appropriate treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and the unique journeys of each patient.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate patient healing.

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for patients to process their trauma and learn effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, enhancing treatment outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, offering immediate support and guidance.
\n
• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses and available resources, empowering them in their healing journey.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with relevant legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education programs to promote trauma-informed care and professional growth.

• Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continually refine treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals impacted by various forms of trauma, including those struggling with PTSD, complex trauma, and related mental health disorders. You will work with a diverse client demographic, employing compassionate techniques to foster an environment where healing and resilience can flourish.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

• Strong clinical knowledge of trauma-related disorders and established trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental approach to care.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, with a focus on trauma-informed therapeutic practices.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies such as EMDR and TF-CBT is highly desirable.

• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
