Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments focused on uncovering trauma histories and developing appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

• Implement evidence-based treatment modalities, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, to ensure integrated and holistic care for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services and support patients during trauma-related emergencies, utilizing trauma-informed techniques.

• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and the resources available for support.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in training sessions, case consultations, and staying abreast of current research in trauma therapy.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
