Work Environment\n

This position is remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a structured work schedule. Our work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential for some schedule flexibility based on patient needs. As a licensed therapist in our clinic, you'll be part of a collaborative team committed to offering the best possible care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to analyze clients' backgrounds and develop tailored treatment plans addressing specific needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing and resilience.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering an environment of support where clients can share their experiences and develop effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care, integrating various therapeutic practices as needed.

• Provide crisis intervention support for clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating both care and professionalism.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, available resources, and coping mechanisms to enhance understanding and promote empowerment.

• Maintain detailed and confidential records, adhering strictly to all legal and ethical standards in documentation.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and continued professional development activities, staying current with the latest advancements in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients consist predominantly of individuals impacted by various forms of trauma. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will have the privilege to work closely with survivors of both acute and chronic trauma, guiding them on their paths toward recovery. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW within the state of Illinois is essential.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment methodologies, and resilience strategies.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is strongly preferred.

• Proficiency in trauma-focused therapy approaches and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
