Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations of patients to identify their mental and emotional needs, ensuring accurate diagnoses of disorders.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans, including specific coping strategies tailored to each individual’s situation.

• Meet regularly with patients via teletherapy to assess their progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and ensure they are on track to meet their personal goals.

• Educate patients and staff on effective stress management and trauma coping mechanisms, facilitating workshops and resource sessions as needed.

• Collaborate effectively with external social and medical agencies, healthcare providers, and community programs to coordinate essential services for patients, enriching their overall support network.

• Stay current with the latest methodologies in mental health by completing continuing education courses aimed at maintaining your National Certified Counselor certification.

• Advocate for patients who have experienced trauma by actively listening to their experiences and ensuring they feel heard and supported throughout their treatment journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on patients who have experienced trauma, ranging from physical injuries to emotional distress related to their circumstances. These individuals often navigate complex mental health challenges, and your role will be crucial in helping them rebuild their lives, regain confidence, and achieve emotional stabilization.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field is required.

• Must possess a valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification.

• A minimum of three years of experience working with trauma patients, demonstrating a clear understanding of their unique needs.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, ensuring effective documentation and communication.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling you to build rapport with patients and collaborate with colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
