Work Environment\n

This role is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility while still adhering to a structured work schedule, typically Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history and establish personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based treatment methodologies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), adapting each approach to suit individual patient needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing therapeutic techniques that encourage patients to confront and process their trauma systematically.

• Develop and assess treatment goals to promote resilience-building and recovery, adjusting plans in response to ongoing evaluations and patient feedback.

• Partner with other healthcare professionals, ensuring an integrated approach to patient care and coordinating interventions for optimal treatment outcomes.

• Respond to crisis situations promptly, providing immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and potential coping strategies, while remaining a source of support through their recovery journeys.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient tracking of patient progress.

• Engage in regular professional development and stay abreast of the latest research in trauma therapy, contributing to case discussions and clinic-wide initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic specializes in supporting individuals affected by trauma, including those experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as either a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health or clinical setting, ideally working with trauma survivors.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in various trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Strong communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and understanding approach to therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
