Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to better understand patients' trauma history and develop appropriate treatment strategies tailored to their needs.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, offering compassionate guidance and support to foster healing and resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to effectively address trauma symptoms.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients in processing their trauma experiences and developing essential coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of professionals to coordinate care, ensuring a comprehensive approach to each patient’s mental health journey.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, helping patients navigate their challenges with empathy and precision.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, equipping them with knowledge and resources for ongoing support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary population you will serve includes trauma survivors from diverse backgrounds, each with unique experiences and needs. Our clinic caters to individuals dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociation, emphasizing a holistic and client-centered approach to therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably in the treatment of trauma-related disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
