Work Environment\n

This role will be performed remotely through a telehealth setting, providing flexibility for both you and your patients. You will engage with clients via virtual platforms, allowing you to create a comfortable atmosphere for therapy. While our standard working hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility may be needed to accommodate the varying needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient’s trauma history and determine appropriate treatment approaches.

• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans emphasizing trauma recovery and resilience-building.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, promoting a collaborative environment where patients can process trauma and develop effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and integrated care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate both patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and external resources to support recovery.

• Maintain accurate, confidential therapy documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals affected by trauma, particularly those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work closely with a diverse set of clients, providing therapeutic support tailored to their specific needs. Building rapport and fostering trust will be crucial in helping patients share their experiences and effectively navigate their healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in the state of California.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 90,000 and 110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
