Key Responsibilities\n

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Performing trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and craft tailored treatment plans.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address specific trauma-related challenges.

• Conducting individual and group therapy sessions that allow patients to process their trauma and develop healthy coping mechanisms.
\n
• Coordinating care with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to treatment.
\n
• Providing crisis intervention and immediate support during critical trauma-related incidents.
\n
• Educating patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available resources for support.
\n
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring confidentiality and ethical integrity.

• Participating in team conferences and professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care best practices.

• Keeping current with the latest developments in trauma therapy to integrate innovative approaches into your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals recovering from traumatic experiences, which can include military veterans, survivors of abuse, and individuals facing significant life challenges. Your expertise will be vital in guiding these patients toward healing and improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current state licensure as an LCSW , LMHC , or LMFT .
\n
• Strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed therapeutic methodologies.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, along with a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications to enhance efficiency in patient management.

Preferred Experience\n

While at least two years of post-licensure experience in providing mental health therapy is preferred, we welcome candidates who exhibit a strong desire to engage in trauma-focused care. Experience with evidence-based trauma interventions is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n
