Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents to determine their specific needs and challenges.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that consider developmental stages, family dynamics, and individual psychological needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions addressing a broad spectrum of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Act promptly in crisis situations while providing support during mental health emergencies involving young patients.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records, adhering to all legal and ethical standards in mental health documentation.

• Engage in regular team meetings, professional development activities, and interdisciplinary case consultations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.

• A strong foundation in child and adolescent mental health disorders, therapeutic approaches, and evidence-based practices.

• Demonstrated experience providing individual and family therapy sessions focused on young clients.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a warm and child-centered approach.

• Abilities to build rapport with patients, parents, and caregivers effectively.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for maintaining patient information.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of experience in a relevant mental health setting is required, applicants with specialized training or experience in child and adolescent care, family therapy, and crisis intervention will be viewed favorably. Knowledge of community mental health resources and engagement with social services is also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
