Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify the needs and strengths of children and adolescents, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based techniques, aligning with the developmental stages and family dynamics of each patient.

• Provide individual therapy using various modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family therapy to address a range of mental health issues.

• Engage with families through therapeutic sessions to educate and empower parents, fostering a supportive environment that encourages children's mental health.

• Collaborate effectively with child psychiatrists, education professionals, and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated and effective treatment plans.

• Participate in crisis intervention when necessary, providing immediate support and resources for children and families experiencing mental health emergencies.

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations using our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Engage regularly in team meetings and case consultations, contributing insights and sharing best practices to enhance overall service delivery.

• Stay updated on the latest research and developments in child and adolescent psychiatry to continually improve therapeutic practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred.

• Strong familiarity with child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methods.

• Proven experience in providing therapeutic services to children and adolescents.

• Excellent communication skills, demonstrating a warm, empathetic, and child-centered approach.

• Adept at using electronic health record systems and modern communication tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 75,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
