This full-time position will allow you to work remotely while providing critical mental health support to individuals who have experienced trauma. Work Environment\n

This remote position offers the flexibility of working from your home while maintaining a connection to our outpatient office team. You will adhere to a standard schedule of Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' past trauma and current mental health status.

• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental well-being.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to patient needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions designed to assist patients in processing trauma, developing effective coping mechanisms, and enhancing their healing journey.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other multidisciplinary staff to foster integrated and holistic treatment approaches.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring the safety and stability of patients in need.

• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping strategies, and resources available for ongoing support.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient documentation that complies with all legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to enhance skills in trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy, integrating this knowledge into daily practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals who have faced various forms of trauma, including those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding these patients as they navigate their healing process and rebuild their lives. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and experience utilizing trauma-informed treatment approaches.

• Strong interpersonal skills accompanied by a compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience preferred, with a focus on trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

• Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

• Ability to remain composed and effective in high-pressure or crisis situations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
