Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, leveraging technology to connect with clients. Our supportive culture focuses on collaboration among clinicians, allowing for a seamless exchange of insights and treatment techniques. While maintaining flexibility in work schedules, the core hours for client sessions are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some scheduling adjustments based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' histories and tailor treatment plans accordingly.

• Collaborate with clients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery and emotional resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions to support patients in processing trauma, enhancing coping strategies, and fostering a sense of community.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, social workers, and other multidisciplinary professionals to coordinate integrated care for clients.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and crisis management support during acute trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about the psychological impacts of trauma and available coping mechanisms.

• Maintain accurate, confidential patient documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards using our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development activities aimed at enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with individuals impacted by trauma, including those experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and related disorders. Your role will be crucial in helping clients navigate their mental health challenges, promote recovery, and empower them towards achieving emotional stability and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-informed therapeutic techniques and modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong emphasis on empathy and non-judgmental interaction.

• Ability to maintain composure and effectiveness under high-stress situations.
\n
• Competence in electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications for accurate documentation and patient management.

• A collaborative spirit, eager to engage with a multidisciplinary team of professionals committed to exceptional patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

In addition to the required qualifications, candidates with advanced training in EMDR or TF-CBT, as well as those with a background in group therapy facilitation, will be highly regarded. Experience in overdose management and crisis response in mental health settings is an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n
