Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and formulate appropriate treatment approaches.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, resilience-building, and enhancing overall mental well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions tailored to helping patients process their trauma, cultivate coping strategies, and promote emotional healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, medical professionals, and community resources to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, helping clients navigate high-stress situations safely.

• Educate patients and their family members on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources, fostering greater understanding and support.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation consistent with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives focused on trauma-informed care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Strong foundation of knowledge regarding trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in fostering trust and rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
