Ultimate Support Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team in a full-time remote role. As a crucial member of our therapeutic team, you will provide specialized mental health care to individuals navigating the challenges of trauma, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders.

Work Environment\n

This position is 100% remote, allowing you to provide care from the comfort of your own home while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Our work schedule runs Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history, emotional status, and identify suitable treatment pathways.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored specifically to promote trauma recovery and build resilience in patients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during therapeutic sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a platform for patients to process their trauma, develop coping strategies, and foster an environment of healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other interdisciplinary team members to provide integrated and comprehensive care for each patient.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients receive timely assistance.
\n
• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources that aid in the healing process.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities centering on trauma-informed practices.

• Stay informed about current research findings and best practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance your clinical expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals who have experienced trauma, including survivors of abuse, domestic violence, or other traumatic life events. Your efforts will significantly impact their journey toward recovery and empowerment, addressing not only their psychological needs but also offering emotional support and guidance through their healing process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, showcasing your commitment to the field of mental health.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-informed care modalities is essential.

• Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, providing support and clarity to patients.

• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer applications necessary for documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is mandated, candidates with an extensive background in trauma-related therapies and previous roles within community health settings will be given preference. Compensation and Benefits\n
